What can you build with Masa and Social Connect?

Here are a few examples of what you can build for this hackathon:

  • 📱 User Interface: Display a user’s soulname or phone number in your application’s UI under a user’s profile to replace their account address.
  • 🏭 Community Building: Utilize soulnames and phone numbers to connect users with similar values or interests, fostering a sense of community within the Celo ecosystem.
  • 👤 User Authentication: Implement soulnames and phone numbers as an authentication method, ensuring users are genuine and not bots.
  • 💸 Sending Payments: Simplify transactions by using soulnames and phone numbers as an identifier for users, replacing the need for lengthy hexadecimal addresses.
  • 👾 Web3 Gaming: Integrate soulname and phone numbers minting and registration within web3 games, allowing players to use their social identifiers as in-game identities.
  • 🖼️ NFT Platforms: Incorporate soulnames and phone numbers into NFT platforms to personalize and identify users, enhancing the trading and ownership experience.
